I'm interested in buying a 'dumb phone' and have just come across the Kazam Life B7. Has anyone heard of this manufacturer before? Have any of you come across this particular phone?

I've been looking at a couple of Nokias as well. They're definitely fit for the job but this Kazam phone is only £30 and it's got a few extras, like 3G and a 5mp camera, that make me think it might be worth the gamble.

I've had the phone for just over a week. So far so good.

Excellent battery life. I charged it for the first time yesterday. The 5mp camera is fine for the odd snap. It takes a micro SD card and plays MP3s. The phone itself feels well built for the money.

You can access the internet but it's almost unusable. The browser feels about 15 years out of date. Most sites that I tried, like BBC News, wouldn't run properly. But my Three SIM card works with the phone and that's all I wanted.

My last phone was a Galaxy S2. The speaker on the Kazam B7 is similar in terms of volume and clarity. I haven't actually made any phone calls yet.

    Hi js58,

Are you still happy with this phone after over a year? I'm interested in getting one too.
Question, does the sms have threaded view (grouped by contacts)?
Does it have decent volume on calls?

    thanks!
