I am thinking of putting together a PC (HCPC) and wondered if this card would be okay. Is in my cupboard doing nothing at the moment and would be nice if I could use it.

    Cheers peeps,

    Glen

It'll playback OK, but the quality isn't as good as a Radeon.

I had a 3500 and the dvd images looked a tad blocky with artefacts.

Try it first though, it may be fine for what you want. If not, swap it out for a Radeon.

    Hi Gary
I remember selling one of these cards about 18 months ago for £50 was a really good card then. if all you want it for is DVD Playback then go for it.

as Gary rightly says give it a try, I think you will be pleasantly surprised, you will obviously have to download the most recent drivers for it
