    Hi All,
If anyone can answer the following question with 100% certainty I'd be forever grateful!
    Is a Toshiba 42WP37 a rebadge Panasonic Series 6?

I've phoned Toshiba and they didn't even understand the question, I've phoned Toshiba's distributer (got from Toshiba) and was told they have stopped disributing plasmas 3 months ago but they "think" its a rebadge panny. Several forums/groups say it is and some say it isn't!.
Some people say its a rebadge NEC.

Please oh please can someone let me know for sure. Ta!

I didn't think they sold 37" panels in the panny 6 series. (Plasma TVs - yes, panels - no).

42WP37 is a 42" exact rebadge of 42PW6 (with fixed set of terminals - Scart, YUV and SVHS). It's not a 37" model, it's from the 37 range. Panasonic did used to do 37" in the 5th gen (and do have a 37" TV this generation), they will do 37" monitors again for generation 7 :)

Thankyou!, Thats the answer I wanted, lucky really as I've already bought the 42PW37 and I'm happy with it, even tho I can still ever so slightly hear the hum when colours change between black and white but not as bad as the Panasonic Series 5's (which I got rid of because of that problem).

Thanks to the other reply'ers aswell!.

    Ta
