Is a 100 watt convertor ok for a Toshiba A20?

Distinguished Member
As I have just bought one but am now concerned I should have got a 200 watt one!

I think you should be Ok the EP1 uses just 41 watts.

100W is a good choice. That is exactly the rating I would have suggested!

200W would also be just fine, the main thing is to leave plenty of headroom (2:1 is good), so that the transformer neither tends to heat nor tends to constrict current flow to the player. From the player's viewpoint, it is desirable the transformer be invisible, as if it were plugged directly into the mains.
