I've been offered a Denon 3802 in as new condition for £300, does this seem a fair price?

I know the 3805 is due soon and so prices will fall, what i'm asking is should i take the 3802 or wait a couple of months and perhaps pick up a 3803 for a little more?

Very good price if condition is excellent. We really could do with a 'Parkers' for AV equipment couldn't we ?

Mike.

Jit,

at 300 quid, the 3803 is an absoloute steal. In fact, I think that's less than trade.
Buy it.
now.

its a 3802 for 300 quid, thats in question, not the 3803.

but yeah 300 for a 3802 very good price if its in good condition, I recently sold a 2802 for 260 and that was a good price..

As we are discussing the going rate, what is the considered view on the current price for a 3803 and does colour matter at all?

Not good time to be buying 3803, with the '05 imminent. Still high 400's probably fair but finding a seller willing to sell at that might be difficult if they not long ago parted with £899. Sells new at £599 online now, will get cheaper (certainly £499, maybe less) once the '05 lands.
