I have a wyrestorm av matrix (old 8x8 hdbaset model) which works pretty well , I have four sources connected to it and the source remotes controls work fine , I can control sky etc with no issues and works from a reasonable distance (5m+) with no issues.
however the remote control that switches the wyrestorm from source 1 to 8 only works when you are within a couple of meters of the IR reciver (works perfectly at this distances) any further away and it doesn’t work at all.
i use a universal remote but the issues is the same for the universal or the original remote.
I can’t work out why or how to extend the range
anybody have any ideas ?
