Irrational Pleasure thread part 2

I used to be with Halifax and wanted to borrow some money to buy a car.
Oddly enough they pushed PPI.
I asked how much it would cost and it would have been nearly as much as the interest.
Yeah right.

I had an account with Halifax about 20 years ago with about £2 in it. I've never closed it. I wonder if I've accumulated hundreds of pounds in interest.

Yeah I got the NO answer too. Mind you I have never taken out ppi, to my knowledge.

I decided to put in a PPI claim at the end of August last year as it was the last chance to do it. I did have some credit card debt ~15-20 years ago until I decided to get my act together and knock it on the head forever (never had anything on the credit card since I paid it all off). I thought I'd get a few hundred quid or maybe even a grand so what the hell, why not.

I'd pretty much forgotten about it until I had a letter through today :

I think there was a trace of sarcasm intended/implied in david's submission :D

a G&T works better imo with a slice of orange than a slice of lemon or lime..

The adds that I'm seeing at the moment are too funny. I've got three sections of Durex Extra Condoms being advertised to me...

I wonder whether it is due to all this talk about dogs and poo bags :rotfl: :D

I wouldn’t suggest using them to collect the poo though :D

Reminded me of the Porridge episode with the stolen pineapple chunks :D

And it's Asda!
