The only steelbook I own that i have left sealed. I reckon this will be worth a fortune in the very near future.

A stunning steelbook. No "blu ray" bar at the top like other iron man releases. And most importantly, a great film :)

Pointless? Maybe but we can't have separate threads for each of the Paramount Steelbooks without including all of them. Even if people have nothing more to add on this Steelbook, there still needs to be a thread.

Currently my favourite steel (even if I had to pay over the odds on eBay as my original from Play was missing some paint!)

Was out of the game when this came around.

Maybe Play will do another run:rolleyes::D

Generally won't pay more than £30 for a Steelbook so odds are i'll never own this:laugh:

Absolutely no chance of that but keep your fingers crossed - maybe another country in Europe will release it like Amazon Italy or Spain :smashin:

Dude, I was just joking. Obviously it makes sense to create thread per release.

i havent bothered to open mine, for the reason it doesnt include the bonus disc so ive kept my amaray 2 discer around. despite the fact ive maybe put that disc in once in 4 years doesnt matter lol.

maybe i will open it one day - i have a backup spare but if times get tough (which they may do for me in november if things dont go as they should) then at least i can eat for a few weeks by selling one :)

You have to open it to fully appreciate it in my opinion. I always open my Steelbooks. I don't think I could manage to leave them sealed for months and then open. I would be too scared of what I may find under that backing card.

ah well there is another thing - i dont tend to look under the backing card!

infact on the iron man dvd steelbook i wasnt even aware it had back art until recently. there are loads of dvd and bluray steels ive never looked at the back of because i dont want to remove the glue. i just gently take it off the front if i have to so i can get into a steelbook, but its not often i remove them entirely. im probably missing out on a lot :)

The other massive threads were to confusing with everything lumped together.

I agree this one needs to be unsealed to be fully appreciated. The back art is really nice too, goes exactly with CA.

If you want to remove the backing card without creasing, gently slide a thin plastic card under and locate the glue it comes off pretty easy much better than pulling the card and bending it just be careful not to scratch the steelbook though.

Big regret for me. I have the German double steel and the Taiwan IM2 Steelbooks so canceled these 2 play releases as it would of been double / triple dips. Although the Taiwan steel is awesome I wish I'd kept my play orders.
I have 102 steels though do had to cut back. Regretted though

I still have to decide what to do with my one with paint damage, is it still worth sticking on eBay to try and recoup some of the cost of the replacement I paid through the nose for?
