    Hi

I'd never even thought to ask this, but looking through this board, I have found a few posts about it.

I connected up my new Hitachi 42PD5100 yesterday which I am very happy with in general. However, I noticed that my Xantech IR distribution system is permanently lit up, and some stray signals are being received by different components. Strangely (at least before I searched this forum) is that the interference depends on what is on the screen! Dark images cause very little interference, but lighter ones increase it substantially.

It is hard for me to move it far away from the Plasma. Indeed, when I eventually wall mount it, I was intending to place it right next to the panel. Is there anything I can do to fix this problem simply?

    Thanks
    Ian
ps I'll be posting some first impressions soon once I've tried out the various connections (Freeview, DVD, Mac VGA, and Mac DVI)
