    Hi,
I am looking for a 20 gig iPod, they seem to be £299 everwhere.
I found on Amazon.com that they are £219. Is there any reason why I should not buy an American version from Amazon.com ?
How much would the customs charge be ?
Can anybody offer a cheap place in this country ?
    Thanks very much,
    Mambo.

    Hi Mambo

In this country all prices are generally the same but in ones out of the EU prices are generally lower. On the custom charge front i dont know what the charge would be but you would have to get a US to UK plug converter for the power supply.

Actually all you will need is a UK 3 pin plug (mains end) to IEC 'figure 8' (ipod end) ... available from b&Q, Tandy, etc for a quid or so ...
