Has anyone ever taken an iPod abroad? (mainland Europe in particular) Do you need the rather expensive Apple travel adaptor or can you just use a normal 3pin to 2pin plug adaptor?

    Thanks :)

I was recently in India and just used a regular adaptor for charging purposes, worked fine.

The ipod adaptor runs from 110v to 240v so to use it in any country all you need is a travel adaptor to change you plug size. mark
