ipod shuffle-dance mix cd's

    Ive had an ipod suffle for 2 mths now and use itunes for storing and downloading all my music onto my ipod. The thing is i cant get my dance mix cd's to play on my ipod without leaving gaps between the tracks they just wont play as one mixed cd. Can anyone help :lease:

    Gapless playback of compressed files is a regular issue for many devices and even some software players.
    I don't own an iPod shuffle, but if you are encoding in MP3 format this is more likely to be an issue, not sure about AAC.
    It would ultimately rely on a firmware upgrade to the shuffle....

    Unfortunately you can't do this on iPods. The only player that will allow this (I think!) at the moment is the Sony HD5 and then only if you rip them in Atrac format. I'm sure the Sony experts will confirm this or tell me that I'm wrong if not ;)
