I have a 5th generation Ipod video with 80gb. When I synch it with just new stuff on it I have to go back and synch all music because it deletes discs 2, 5 and 7 of an audio book of Persuasion. How to I get it not to delete these every time I add anything to it?

How are you syncing it, are you manually syncing it or just connecting it and letting it autoupdate, you may have it set so that once you have played the audiobook it deletes it as you listen to it. If not and the files are in your library and it autoupdates then it should keep them there, if you are deleting them from your library then the ipod syncs to your library so they'll dissappear off the ipod as well.
