iPod Photo 40GB

    I updated/restored and iTunes says please connect to a power supply, and it has a picture of a plug on the screen, I've tried connecting it to USB on a PC a mac and a xbox 360, but its still tehre, Help?

    There should have been a plug that came with the ipod, big white block with a firewire port on it.

    This thing is old, that plug is looong gone :(

    Any other way? All I have access to is the cable that came with it thats USB/Firewire.

    Unfortunately your gonna have to beg or borrow an ipod usb charger. Many of the old ones required connection to the mains when restoring to finish the procedure :thumbsdow

    I dont even know anyone that would have the wall charger, nobody I know bought the ipod untill recently which seems to only come with the cable according to them

    COuldn't you just use a USB lead into a powered usb plug?

    Tried that, It didnt work, Got it sorted anyway a quick trip to toys r us and dumped it in there iPod Hi-Fi dock thing and its all good, Battery needs replaced since it holds about 30 mins charge when its just sitting idel
