ipod now stores pictures

    Any of you Apple ipod owners out there are going to be excited by this new feature.
    There is now a card reader add on so you can transfer your pictures to the ipod. Useful for when you go on a two week holiday and need extra storage etc.
    But the best bit is that you can transfer the pictures via firewire/USB2.0 and get ultra fast transfers!

    Here's a short review of it.

    And another . Looks like there are a few teething problems regarding transfer speed.

    Is there a cheaper alternative to this? ie <5GB Hard disc with just a CF port.

    You will need to buy a 2.5" hard disk to put in it.

    If you're interested I've got a brand new one with a 4gb disk in it which Scan sent me as a replacement for one that was faulty after I had jumped the gun and bought a replacement.
