I bought a brand new ipod nano 8Gb at the weekend.
With the volume set to max (including Volume Limit max'd out in settings) - its just not loud enough!!
I'm well miffed.

I'm sat at work and can hear the office air con over the music. I listened to it in the car and couldn't hear the ipod radio for the car engine noise!! I don't need to turn it down or off to hold a conversation with anyone whilst still with it playing
Someone said the apple headphones aren't great but I've just spent £109 - I expect something more competant than this.
Is this a common issue with the new nano? tell me there isn't new legislation that limits the volume to this pathetic level.
It's going back to Jessops whatever - just need to know whether to exchange for another ipod or try another brand.
EDIT and why can I do video but not still pics??? where's the common sense in that? or am I missing a setting??
