Hi, I am planning on getting a 20gb iPod from the States.
Firstly will the power issue be ok (is there an adapter supplied as standard - i.e. do they ALL originally ship from the U.S.?) and secondly is the potential saving that great to make it worthwhile in the first place?
    ANY help appreciated.
    Thank you.

The power supplies vary only in the plug adaptor that is shipped local to each country. By unplugging the plug adaptor, the power adaptor connector can be accessed - a standard dual-pin 8-type connector common on electrical equipment, so you can just use a corresponding lead instead of a UK plug adaptor.

As to price difference, you'll probably save about £30 (ie, the vat you'd pay here).
