ipod dilema ?!

im off to hong kong end of april and want an ipod for the long journey, i can get a secondhand gen 1/2 20gb ipod for £150.

But if i buy one in hong kong i can get a brand new gen 3 15gb ipod for £160.

as you can see i have a dilema, i wnat an ipod for the trip to hong kong, but when i get to hong kong the price i paid for a second hand ipod would have bought me a brand new one !


what should i do ?

How about:

buy a seconhand one on ebay, go to japan, get a 3rd gen one brand new, come back, sell old ipod on ebay for about what you paid for it.
