I am trying to copy my contacts (V-Cards from Outlook) to my IPOD (30g photo). I have enabled the disk drive and wherever sighted clicked yes to contacts, I have copied the v-cards to within the contacts folder and can see them in there when browsing via my pc, they are not however visible when looking under contacts on the I-Pod.

Has anyone got any tips on how to set this function up correctly?

    Many Thanks

It appears that you've done the copying over correctly, copy the v-card files over to the contacts folder of the iPod in disk mode. Is there an option on you iPod to enable the calendar, if so does that make them appear ?

Something else to check (taken from apple site)
    1) Make sure the contact's vCard is in a compatible format, either 2.1 or 3.0.

No, after going to extras then contacts none are present, I'll need to check the version of my V-Cards then (not sure how but I'm sure I'll find it - wouldn't have thought it a problem as I am using Outlook from Office 2000).

    Thanks for all the help.

I'm stumped then mate, the only other thing I think is that that contacts folder on the iPod could be spelled incorrectly - but I doubt it !
