    Hi all,

Am I right in thinking that if my head unit has an aux in connection on the front, and I'm not bothered about charging or controlling my ipod (5th gen 30GB Video) through the head unit. I can just use a 3.5mm jack - 3.5mm jack cable and plug it in to the aux in port on my head unit and the line out or headphone port on my ipod? I dont need any kind of adaptor etc?

All I want to do is play my ipod through my head unit instead of using my current FM transmitter?

    Thanks in advance.

Yes, that will work. They cost between £3 and £10 normally. Cheaper one will do. Not sure if the Apple is line out though, might be wrong on that one.
