    Hi,

Is there a cradle available that plugs into the cigarette lighter?

I don't need any connectivity because I am going to get the cable that plugs into my stereo.

I just want a cradle with the cigarette charge on the back.

Also what cable do I need to plug it into the boot changer socket on my stereo?

    Thanks!

What stereo do you want to connect to? make and model would help.

Its likely that you'll need a compatible stereo adapter and cradle. If you find a cradle that plugs into the lighter then you'll be using the docking connector of the ipod. You could still take the audio separately from the headphone socket (depending on ipod type, i.e. if headphone socket is on top) but this would be a bit messier and the audio isn't as high a quality.

A combined adapter kit would take better quality audio from the dock connector as well as charging and holding ipod all from the cradle. depending on the stereo you may also be able to control the ipod, therefore maybe not needing a cradle and leaving ipod in glovebox
