I tried to switch on my iPod this morning and I was presented with an icon
of an exclamation mark and a battery symbol. I am assuming that this is because there is a problem with the battery? I plugged it into the charger thinking it was low on power but all that does is re-start it and crash.
I have tried to call APPLE to ask for advice and surprise surprise they were less than helpful.

I haven't carried out any trouble shooting yet, but I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this problem and what it is you did to resolve it?
I'm praying that all I need to do is re-set it or prehaps re-load iTunes, but if someone out there has had this problem and resolved it I would be eternally grateful

    Many thanks

I have now resolved this issue with the help of the Apple Support pages.
For those of you who are interested, I plugged the iPod into the mains charger and re-set it.
Its seemed to have done the trick - I'll let you know if its any different once the charge is full

    Thanks
