That's America for you, huh? I always thought the iPod battery eventually died, just like any other type of battery. And manufacturers giving unrealistic quotations of battery life is nothing new.
"Customers who have paid Apple to repair their iPod battery within two years of purchasing the device are eligible for a $50 cash refund. Apple charges $99 for such repairs."
So they're admitting they lied, but are only giving people $50 who had to pay twice that for a repair?
respect for that! if allple can fleece america im happy. i hate people who file nusance lawsuits like this its a really petty problem tbh they shudda done some research before buying the thing! i mean its people like those with hd5s with cracking buttons that should be filing law suits not these people.
