I recently got an Ipod as a present and was wondering if anyone knew what happens when the battery fails. How do you replace it and where can you get them from? I realise I am not going to need this info for a while as it is new, but I am curious as I can see no obvious way to change the battery.

    Thanks

you can always take out apple care which cost i think £60 for 3 years, but u have to take it out within the first year of purchasing the ipod for it to be valid. Once the battery dies (which it will) you send to apple who replace it wit a new one.
the other option is to send it to a third party person who will replace for bout £30
