Hi I have a Humax HD foxsat, this i have set up to get freesat iplayer, i use a laptop with wifi and a crossed net cable to the Humax, red button 5483 ok and all works fine.
My problem is i live abroad and use a UKVPN to connect, as i said it works useing this UKVPN.
Now to my question, i would like connect my Humax to my main pc netcard via homeplugs, i have 2 netcards on my main pc, one for the router and one to the homeplugs and then to my Humax, i have a UKVPN on my main pc.
Should i still use a crossed cable between the homeplugs and the Humax?
I have tried many configerations to get this to work on my main pc to no avail.
