Iphones apps into Itunes

Really Sorry this is not another thread about the Iphone 4 but it is sort of realated

I need to transfer my apps from the iphone into itunes (fresh install) is there anyway to do this the only ptions i see want to wipe my phone..

yep, right click on where its says 'Your iPhone' and click transfer purchases.

When you backup in iTunes is transfers all your apps.

It definitely transfers apps from iPhone to computer when you sync

On a related point - I have an iTouch at the moment which I will ditch when I pick up the iP4. Will I be able to transfer the apps I've got and currently use on the iTouch (all saved in iTunes) on to my new iP4?
