Iphone shutting down and running slow

Hi, I have a iPhone 3GS and updated it on iTunes for the latest software. Since then I've had loads of bother with it shutting down and running slow.. Any ideas?

What iOS were you on before? I assume a version 4.0?

Check for apps running in the background, push features etc. You could try another restore - but don't choose to restore from backup.

Cheers for that. Reset my iPhone and everything seems back to normal. Thanks again.
