    Hi guys,

I have a launch day iPhone 5 which has served me well and compared to some I've seen it's resisted chips well!

Unfortunately the rear camera has the famous dust issue so I'll have to take it to Apple, one thing I was wondering though.

When/if the unit gets swapped out does the 3 month warranty on the refurbished unit tag onto the existing 1 year warranty from my original order or would it start the 3 months from the date of swap?

My current unit expires on September 21st, so would the warranty accumulate up to 20th December or say I swapped it out tomorrow the warranty would end up being only up to the 4th November?

This is assuming the above does happen or will the warranty mearly mirror the current phone but of course I'll be having a "new" phone.

    Any help appreciated :)

If your current warranty is less than 3 months you get a new 3 month warranty.

Thanks, just as I thought that it would be 3 months from date of swap providing current warranty is less than 3 months :)
