when i got mine and signed on the dotted line it said no 14 day policy, exchanges refunds or cancelations are excepted on the iphone, i asked the o2 sales guy why (not that i would want to anyway) and he said its a contract they have with apple that the minute you got the phone your stuck in it. He also said they dont except them back if its faulty he said your basically stuck with it. i think that last part is against trading and consumer laws

I just bought a new iPhone from o2 a few days ago. The sales guy said if you aren't happy with it, return it within 14 days for refund

I was wondering about this too. It looks like you can return it if you buy it online but perhaps not if bought over the counter in an O2 shop?
I'm tempted to buy one online just for this reason. Anyone bought one and sent it back for whatever reason? Any hassles from O2 if so?

Buy it online. I think you have 7 days as per law to return anything that you buy online. Distance selling regulations.

    Shop may not accept returns.

I bought one in an o2 shop and upon reflection was unhappy with the service I received from that particular o2 shop so I returned it after a fews days for a full refund – no problems at all. i thin bought the same phone from an Apple shop – this may sound strange but for me it was a matter of principal.
