    Hi

I have a mini with a Harmon Karmon stereo with ipod/iphone connector in the glovebox. For some reason I can no longer connect my iphone to play through the stereo. Worked one minute, then not the next when reconnected.

I just get 'this accessory doesn't allow charging' on screen when connected but nothing on the stereo.

My wife's phone still works when connected and is accessible through the stereo controls. My phone still connects to itunes and my charger as it should.

Any reason why my phone should suddenly stop connecting????

I have cleaned the connection on the phone but still nothing.

    Hi Stefan,

Sounds stupid mate, but have you tried resetting your phone at all?

May just be a software error, that could be solved with the reset.

    Just an idea...

Thanks for the replies, I have reset the iphone, painful as it was, still no joy.

It has nothing to do with bluetooth, that works perfectly, bringing up my contacts, making calls etc.

It's the physical iphone connection to the iphone (the 21 pin plug) that's the problem and clearly not the stereos or connecting leads problem but my iphone.

    :(
