I'm working in London today and wondered whether any of the sharper-eyed forum users have spied iPhones for sale on Tottenham Court Road yet? I quite fancy getting my hands on one today.

Depends how they are sold on ebay. 2nd hand is fine, so is US sellers.

It is illegal to modify the software and then sell them. This would need to be done for it to work in the UK

It is illegal for a shop to sell a item without license to do so by the manufacturer (apple won't give this for the uk yet).

It is illegal to sell a electrical item without a CE stamp (won't have one yet).

    Etc, etc
