Iphone and orange - disable voicemail button?

Hi all,

Hope this is the best place to ask this.

My daughter is on a sim only contract with orange and the voicemail service has been turned off. However, it seems that on at least two occasions, she has pressed the voicemail button (only for 3 and 4 seconds). However, this has cost about 30p each time and is damned annoying!

Is there any way to stop this from happening?

Not sure if it is an orange thing or iphone.

The button is there for everyone, it's Apple's software that put it there, nor Orange. Unless the phone is jailbroken and there happens to be a tweak to remove it or change it to something else, I'm afraid you're stuck with it sadly. I don't use it either but on occasions when I have hit it, it doesn't cost me anything as it's included in my monthly minutes with EE.
