    Hi everyone,

Just wondering if anyone can help with a matter that has been bugging me for quite a while now. When I connect my iPhone 6 to my car via USB cable, the steering wheel volume buttons don't adjust the volume of the music playing from the phone. I also have a small scrolling volume button next to my gearstick which also doesn't do anything. However, my wife has an iPhone 7 and when she connects to my car via USB cable, it all works perfectly. Any ideas on what the issue is here? I'm guessing a phone setting of some sort, but I've no idea where to look or start!

    Many thanks!

    Ryan

It is more likely due to the software in the car. I would go into the settings and see if there is an update available.

Have a look in “Settings”, “General” and scroll down to “Carplay”

Firmware update for the car would be my suggestion. Check with your dealer or specialist.
