    iPhone 4S Black

For sale is an iPhone 4S phone. The screen is in mint condition with no visible scratches or markings on the screen or the sides. The back has quite a few scratches all over, which I've tried to capture in the photo below.

Phone is locked to O2, currently on iOS 6.0.1 but will most likely be updated to 6.1.2 when I do a factory restore.

I just checked the serial number on Apple site and there's no warranty left.

    What You'll Get

    1. iPhone 4S 16GB Black as described above
    2. USB cable
    3. power adapter
    4. unused headphones

As the original adapter is a bit worn, I will include a unofficial charger too.

    Postage and Packing

Item will be sent Royal Mail Special Delivery to be with you for 1pm on the next working day. The price of postage is £6. I can post it on the next working day of whenever payment is received.

    Price

I'm happy to accept £200 delivered
    Sensible offers are welcome.

    Location: Blackburn

Please be advised, all buyers and sellers should satisfy themselves that the other party is genuine by providing the following via PM to each other after negotiations are complete and prior to dispatching goods and making payment:
    1) Landline telephone number. Make a call to check out the area code and number are correct too!
    2) Name and address including postcode
    3) Valid e-mail address (no disposable addresses such as @gmail or @yahoo for example).

DO NOT proceed with a deal until you are completely satisfied with all details being correct. It's in your best interest to check out these details yourself.
Also we advise that the vendor post images of the items for sale. This helps your sale by showing the condition of the goods prior to dispatch.

Can you get this unlocked.... free if you have an ongoing O2 monthly contract.. (Juts put your sim in, make a few calls and then apply for the unlock by filling in web form).

Hi, O2 can unlock the phone for £15. All you need is an O2 simcard.

The 4S was a significant upgrade from the 4, with the dual core A5 processor making it quite a lot faster. Here's a pretty comprehensive comparison of all three phones (4, 4S and 5):
iPhone 5 vs. iPhone 4S vs. iPhone 4

I won't be able to unlock as my brother (on behalf of who I'm selling the phone) has just switched to T-Mobile and no longer has an O2 contract, which is the reason for sale.

If you prefer it unlocked I can try and get a PAYG O2 sim card and get it unlocked using that

I spoke to my brother and he says he'll try to get it unlocked. I will update the thread based on how that goes.

Sorry the offer of 200 is too low, I actually took the scratches into consideration before pricing the phone.

You drive a hard bargain. £200 unlocked it is then :smashin:
EDIT: Just noticed the rest of your post, I can try and get you pics this evening. I did try taking some over the weekend but they weren't that clear, but I'll give it another shot tonight

Also, as your offer is conditional, the price of £200 delivered is open to anyone who makes an unconditional offer

    Yes no probs

Its for the wife and she was bit not sure about the scratches, as long as all the other sides are fine she should be content, plus I'll get her a case as well to cover the back

We'll go to PM and if okay I'll pay once you send the pics tonight

    Is that okay?

I'm a bit confused and need some clarification

Have I not secured the item

I've asked for it to be unlocked and was fine to pay your asking of £210 but you are saying £200 unlocked

If I pay original asking of £210 does that not mean the phone is secured

Sorry for being a bit of a dunce

Sorry about the confusion. When I said conditional I wasn't refering to your question of getting it unlocked. We agreed on selling it locked as it means a quick sale.

However, your current offer is £200 IF you're happy with the photos this evening. That's conditional.
In the meantime, if someone comes along and offers the £200 without any conditions they they become the first buyer to agree on a fixed sale.

Ah I see what you mean now.
You offered £200, I said £210, you said £210 unlocked and then I said £200 unlocked instead of £200 locked.

I messed up. I was meant to say £200 locked.

Thanks but whilst I don't have that many feedback on here, near enough all my sales have been for high value items and I've not had a single problem. I can provide links to eBay and HUKD accounts where I have more feedback but I wouldn't be willing to post anything in advance. I've reduced the price from £236 to £200 delivered for you and if you're happy to pay that upfront then it's a done deal, otherwise I'm afraid I'd rather hold for the the next buyer

Hi, I'll wait a bit to see if Mr-Mixalot is willing to pay upfront, otherwise it's still for sale. I'll let you know either way.

All the buttons and everything operate fine.

EDIT: I've attached some photographs of the side and back which show the condition of those a bit more clearly.

Hi, the new price of the phone locked is £200. For it to be unlocked it would be £215 as I'd be paying O2 £15 to unlock it. I'll wait a while for Mr-Mixalot as I know people can't always reply immediately in the evenings

Thread reported. What a complete and utter cock up this trade is. How has something so inherently simple been transformed into something so ridiculously convoluted.

Firstly, this is an acceptance of an offer. Once accepted it is not open to anyone else. MrMixalot offered £200 unlocked and you agreed. Just because he upped it to £210 unlocked to try to secure it is irrelevant as you had stated your intent to sell it at £200 as per this post. Editing your post to reflect your price hike is against the rules and carries a mandatory trading ban.

No it isn't. You have already accepted £210 and £200 for it unlocked so to ask for more is again, against the trading rules and carries a one month trading ban. Both of you need to read the trading rules here because the pair of you seem to have ignored the fundamental elements of trading on here. Whilst MrMixalot did air his views on it albeit, not vociferously enough, you MrBrightside, should have checked the rules on this and instead of pressing on at a higher amount, sold it for the agreed price.

The trade can stand but, MrMixalot needs to be refunded whatever amount he paid over the £200 and if I see this behavior again in one of your threads, I will issue you a trading ban without a second thought

    Apsilon
