iPhone 4 sim card help

If I buy new iphone 4 without contract just phone from apple or on pay as you go if i put my vodafone contract sim will it work? obviously i might have to unlock the phone to all networks, will i b able to do that to the new iphone? also I heard there might be limit on web browsing will it effect my unlimited web sim card from vodafone?

The phones sold on the apple store are sim free, meaning they will take any carrier as long as it is a microsim. You can cut down your existing sim card to fit (lots of advice on this forum) or you can request a microsim from VF and port your contract over.
If you remain on the same contractvthen your data useage will be unaffected. It is the carriers that impose the limit, not the phone itself
