I watched the keynote for the new iphone 3g. There is a lot of third party support for new apps and games. Will these be available on the ipod touch. Does the touch have that motion senser thing built inside it like the iphone. Also is the apps store gonna be on the touch also.

    Thanks

Yep - the iPod Touch is to all intents and purposes an iPhone with the radio part removed.

    Yep.

The full version of Flash that runs on PC/Mac is very large, and extremely CPU inefficient.

It would run like a dog and use up your battery like it was going out of fashion.

Flash 'Lite' which was developed for mobile phones is also no use because the iPhone has a proper web browser and therefore needs the regular version of Flash.

The only solution I can see on the horizon is that the next generation of Flash will apparently make use of the GPU for acceleration - that might work out as the iPhone has a pretty reasonable video chipset.

Everything that you saw on the keynote will be available for the touch, but at a cost of $9.99.

I guess bbc iplayer or itv catchup don't work on the touch then. Those sites you just stream the tv shows etc I hope they work on the touch seen as youtube does.

    Hi

iPlayer works brilliantly as does YouTube. I don't think the ITV one does though.

OMG serious!!! YESSSSSSS. That will be perfect for me. :). Damn I need to get me one of these ipods NOW. Another side of me is telling me to wait just incase they release a bigger version or a newer model, 32gb is ok but I'd prefer 64gb minimum. If theres a price drop soon I'll just get the 32gb.

    nice one
