Looks like I’ll have to wait a while longer for my 11 Pro to arrive and play with the new camera.

Does anyone have any real-world photos to share from their new iPhones? All I’ve really seen so far are professional and review photos.

Feel free to post away.

Night mode on and off

Here are a couple which I’ve quickly snapped now. When you see these, please note that the original photos came out very well, even without Night Mode, in what is a very dark setting.

One more. This was in a very dark corner.

I really wish I had this phone last week in the Brecon Beacons. This is from the back of my home, in almost total darkness. This night mode truly rocks...

There's a fair bit of noise in the photo, but this scene was pretty much in darkness. With my naked eye, I could see the outline of the trees only.

I snapped my eldest doing monkey bars. I’ve a few better ones with her face in but it’s the internet so choosing this one.

Compared to my X, the clarity and speed of capture are superb.

Also a panorama vs one on my X. Note I had to upload the panorama files as “large” rather than actual size due to file size restrictions

Awesome!

The top panorama is the iPhone 11 I assume?

Safe assumption to make I think, it’s hugely superior.

Hugely. I was on the fence this year but after seeing a review and now seeing how good the camera is, I’m very happy. I use the camera so much it’s 100% worth it for me. Am gonna get out and about in the next few weeks to get some more shots.

Yeah, the High-Key mono is pretty nice - it actually helps to de-uglify me to some extent.

It requires some algorithm updates though. For myself as someone with limited amount of hair it makes some strange processing decisions. And for blonde and white background balance doesn't work either. But very promising. I guess normal photographic skills still apply.

I'm very impressed with the ultra wide lense and quality. That is just awesome. I gave my phone to the event photographer and he couldn't believe how close he could get to take a shot like that. LOL He was considering to get one to save him carrying two cameras or swapping lenses.

It's sure going to be interesting to see what the Deep Fusion update comes out with.

Really nice. But I'd be tempted to pan up so that the horizon is lower in the frame - the sky is more interesting than the grass.
