    Hi and HELP!

My Ipaq lost all its memory after powerng down for a few days and I had to load back in TomTom etc. However a weird side effect seems to be that it's wireless lan seems to not be there anymore....I can do a test of the card and it says it is functioning but I cannot get it to detect my wireless network or to even appear to be on? (flashing green light etc) Blue tooth crap is all there but couldnt care about that.

So anyone got a clue how to fix thiis before I smash it with a hammer....

    Cheers,

    G :lease:

    Gordon,
Could it be your wireless network is running WEP encryption and you've forgotten to enter the key or perhaps set the
Shared mode in the wireless net work criver advanced type screens?

    cheers,
    rob.

try a soft reset if you havnt already. My 5550 did the same once but after a crash not after a power down. Do you get any lights when turning on the wifi? With mine if wifi is on i get orange if its connected i get green... If nothing after a soft reset then may need a hard reset. If you get orange but no green then its a settings problems...
