Hello

In my car i use a FM transmitter to transmit music from my iphone 4 to the car stereo.
Works fine

The FM transmitter is in the perfect place to support an ipad2 and play a movie and all people in the car would be able to see it and the sound would be played through he radio.

However when i attach my ipad2 to it and open up a video it immediatley comes up with a message saying there is an auxillery device connected and wont display the video.

Does anyone know a way round this?

To be clear. I want to put my ipad on my FM trasmitter dock in portrait position and transmit the sound through the FM trasmitter to the radio and still be able to view the video.

cheers

I have done exactly this on my iPad 1st Gen with no problems. Shouldn't be a problem on the next Gen?

Fingers crossed that's the case. Of course we both have different models of iPad and WiFi transmitters, so that's where the differences lie.

My iPad doesn't give any prompts when I plug my transmitter in.
