ipad itunes with a laptop

im getting a ipad with a 3g data plan
i have no isp
will i need to buy a usb dongle to connect to a laptop just for itunes as i listen to podcasts
just the ipad wont do
ill need internet for itunes correct

yes if you want to download from the itunes store you will need a valid connection

so if you want to subscribe to certain podcasts and only for that, than year a dongle could do but be aware such dongles have 1GB/month caps or quite expensive 3GB/month caps
