iPad 2 bluetooth not working

I've purchased a Gear4 Unity but I cannot get this paired with my iPad 2. Got it paired with my 4S no problem.

Bluetooth is turned 'on' on my iPad but it just seems to keep 'Searching'

I cannot even see my iPad from my iPhone or from my MacBook (I can see my iPhone though) - I know you can normally view bluetooth in the range but not connect.

I've tried restoring my iPad and setting up as a new one but issue is still there

Any ideas?

Have to tried turning off Bluetooth on your 4S before trying to pair on the iPad?

The Unity can only talk to Bluetooth device at a time.

Hi,

Yeah bluetooth was turned off on my 4S. I initially tried to set it up with my iPad and not my iPhone, that's when I realised the problem.

Still having an issue with this.

None of my friends have iPad 2s so can someone quickly help?

When I switch Bluetooth on the icon appears on the top right but when I press the home button it disappears and switches off?

Can someone switch theirs on then press home button to see if their Bluetooth icon stays on!

Just did this and yes it vanished. Perhaps it's due to not finding any device as I have none.

It does that if you have no paired devices..
