Sounds like about right for Ecotricty chargers ....any signs of Tesla Superchargers yet? Tesla got planning permission for I think ×8 chargers North and Southbound late last year :).

Agree with that, unfortunately we're a few years away yet. I will probably look for a nearly new diesel Caddy/Connect to tide me over until there's more choice.

I share the frustration as I really want to but whilst the current crop can be good for some, they can be not so good for others.

I honestly thought that there would a lot more available or at least in the pipeline by now, especially from the larger car manufacturers.

I wonder how much the oil companies are having a say in this...

No sign of superchargers yet. I LFE a fair bit as it has a free 22kwh post which gives me a good topup while getting a coffee. Also the Rapids are almost always on Free vend!

Is there an easy way to find where the higher rate free points are?

You have alot more patience than me. I live a 10 mintue drive from LFE. Even when Tesla eventually get the Superchargers sorted I personally still rather pay £5 to charge up at home than sit at a Supercharger for 40 mintues :).

I tend to have about 1/2 hour of emails and calls to make by the time I get up as far as LFE in the evening. so find it easier to stop there grab a coffee and top the car up make my calls and do emails, rather than getting home and having to set up and start work from home again.

Also it means I tend to get home with about 60% to 70% battery so not only less charging overnight but if we go out again in the evening I dont need to worry about topping up.
