IP based outdoor security camera suggestions

following an attempted break in last night I've decided some outdoor security camera's might help deter the buggers

I'm looking for suggestions that fit the following brief

a. IP based security cameras for outside
b. PoE (power over ethernet) compatible if possible
c. Day & night mode
d. Decent resolution
e. upload to server / ftp
f. don't cost £1000 each (i need 2)

Is there any particular reason why you want to go with IP cameras? IMO IP cameras are still not up to scratch in comparison to a standard camera?

On a side note Baxall went in to administration about a month ago so there may not be any support should anything go wrong.

I want IP based as I haver a fairly extensive home network in place already. I like the idea of being able to access camera from PC / media PC in lounge / Mobile phone etc

Also, uploading of footage to external FTP would be nice too, in case I do get robbed and they clear out all the home PC's
