Hi Guy, I really need some help here please.

I work as a driving instructor and I have a phone and a pad. When I am sent Test Centre Bookings, most here in Yorkshire come as 09:13 maybe 11:02 etc.

    iPad Or iPhone 5:
When I open the email I >open mail>click on time>create even pop up> and the default calendar comes up> select this is where I need help , I need to add an hour before the test.

When I adjust the calendar by the hour, the default 15 minute slots turn up.
I am unable to revert back to the 01.02.03.04 minute slots.

I am given the default 15 minute blocks which are sometimes counter productive to my daily/weekly diary.

Is there an app or even a work round?

I really would appreciate any help here, its driving me potty!

Quick search online revealed three options.

    1) Add the real time to the calendar entry as words.

    2) Use Outlook or Google to create the event and then sync.

    3) Open the Notes app and type the time of the event there (eg. 12.01). Save and go back and it'll be clickable, with one of the options being to create an event at that time.

Number 3 is probably the best option, but still very much a workaround, and a fairly long-winded one at that. And I think it'll only let you operate in hour-long blocks, still, as any attempt to change the time reverts to the five-minute increments.

I think I searched something as specific as "iPhone calendar can't do minutes", which was close enough to find a few matches (along with a lot of returns which weren't relevant!). Not quite sure what we all did before the net was at our fingertips.
