Whats peoples thoughts on this media player, i found a good deal on it for about £40 second hand.

seems to play anything and has an ethernet port, seems ok.

    any issues with it that?

    Regards
    DSW.

I'm no expert, but I do have one but it finally gave up the ghost a few weeks ago, hoping to salvage my files somehow.

Its tempremental and does'nt do half of what it says on the tin and Iomega
support is not along it cracked up to be. I would recommend looking elsewhere.

However you should sift through the the following forum (its a tough job) but
could save you a bad buy.

    Iomega User Community :: Index
    multimedia drive questions.

Sorry I'm not to techie, I just wish I 'd seen all the probs before my purchase,
no wonder its a give away price.

Just what I've been looking into as well seems very versatile and supported.
Both by manufacturer and others, lots of good forums as well.

    B-RAD

    WDTVLive Downloads Site

and others just google - there was also a new firmware release last week
that does some work with DVD menus.

Thinking of PC World, as its in walking distance and if you order on line for
collection its down to 88.80 - under data storage/media player hard drives.
