I just bought this drive from tesco for £50 - £45 after the missus discount:
Iomega Prestige Portable Hard Drive - 250 GB - external: Amazon.co.uk: Electronics & Photo

I wanted a portable one so decided to get this and sell my 3.5" 500Gb later. Capacity isn't an issue.

The drive seems to be formatted to NTFS. When I right click 'Format' all I get is the option for NTFS. I think I need FAT32 for playing files on the 360/PS3.

My 3.5" was formatted to FAT32 and I get the option to change it to NTFS, I'm just wondering why it's any different with my new drive, and if it can be done (fingers crossed).

    Thanks.

Is that a program I need to download and run to format the HDD?

Thanks, I don't really know what I'm doing though so I'll wait for some more advice first.
