Invision UK tell us they have been appointed as exclusive distributor for VIBE Audios PICS (Picture Integrated Cinema Speakers) range of wall-mounted loudspeakers.
British audio brand VIBE developed the PICS range for the custom market, as high quality designer speaker solutions for in-wall or on-wall mounting. Mounted behind a fully customisable picture frame, the PICS design ensures that speakers and cabling are fully concealed, whilst hopefully not compromising on audio quality.
Invision claims that 'unlike with other decorative or hidden speaker systems, PICS maintains audio integrity due to the inclusion of a high quality speaker in a perfectly measured, finely tuned wooden cabinet'. The speakers are enclosed in an MDF cabinet that pressurises and reinforces the drivers.
Featuring an innovative, acoustically transparent and easily removable canvas onto which any image can be printed, PICS allows installers to integrate hi-fi and home cinema audio seamlessly into interiors. Installers can supply specific artwork for custom printed grilles, select from a range of stock images or provide their own grilles. PICS should also suit commercial installs and can be tailored to integrate with corporate branding as easily as with home décor.
Installation should be a breeze as PICS have been engineered for a quick and simple install in any type of application. Each PICS speaker has three mounting options for installation into any type of wall, either in-wall, on-wall or with a stand-off option. PICS can be set into the wall in the same way as an in-wall speaker. They can also be wall hung like a traditional picture frame, using the supplied brackets.
The included PICS Frames attach to the speakers magnetically, holding custom printed acoustic canvas and speaker grills securely in place. The frames are supplied in matt white and can be easily removed for re-painting if required.
