Mirage Media Server offers AirPlay streaming and total control of iTunes

Invision has announced Autonomic's continued support of Crestron's Core 3 UI framework, via its Mirage Media Server platform.

This follows confirmation from Autonomic that its Mirage Media Server platform easily integrates with Crestron control systems and fully supports Crestron's Core 3 UI, its next generation of graphical user interface design.

Invision says the integration of both solutions provides users with services they've been asking for, such as native connectivity with Crestron solutions and a rich user interface.

With support of Core 3 UI, Autonomic's Mirage Media Server can now provide users with complete control of iTunes and streaming services, such as Spotify and from their Crestron touch screen. Core 3 UI integrates gesture-driven controls, animated feedback, metadata, embedded apps, and full-motion HD video.

Chris Dawson, sales specialist at Invision UK explains: “As proud distributors of Autonomic, Invision UK is delighted to be able to offer some of the best cloud-based media servers on the market, that integrate with state-of-the-art control systems. This is the kind of complete solution our customers have come to expect from us.”

Fred Bargetzi, VP of technology at Crestron adds: “Crestron offers complete solutions for Apple devices that you use every day. Mirage Media Server users can now enjoy the same dynamically rich user experience that they are used to on their iPhone, iPad, or Mac, from their Crestron touch screen.”

When combined with a Crestron control system, the Mirage Media Server allows users to sync, schedule, control, and distribute multiple streams of audio to every room in the house. Additionally, with its integrated Apple AirPlay functionality, users can send music from their favourite Apple device to anywhere in the home with the press of a button.

“Crestron has always supported Autonomic with tools and resources, training, and technical assistance to ensure that our products work seamlessly together, guaranteeing the best possible experience for our customers,” says Autonomic CTO, Michael Toscano. “We are very excited to partner with them once again to deliver this powerful combination of award-winning products that provide the ultimate digital music experience.”
