I am looking at some investment opportunities and some German insurance brokers highlight british life insurances, claiming the possible gain (in %) is higher than compared to German ones. The following three main advantages are listed:

    - return of 100% of invested capital (principal) after xx number or years
    - guaranteed basic interest rate
    - possible two digit gain

So I was wondering if somebody can confirm that the above is true, perhaps even let me know the typical basic interest rate (in Germany it's around 2.75% only).
Any feedback and perhaps some real figures related to the 3rd point would be much appreciated, too. :smashin:

I don't really think this is the best website to try and seek investment advice.

Maybe try a more finance oriented website? Maybe something like www.themoneybag.com?

Thanks for the response and the link provided, I will check it out.

I am actually not looking for advise as such, it's more of a question (I just changed the title to reflect that), i.e. to seek independent confirmation if the promised benefits are true.
Thinking there are lot's of British nationals on this board it seemed like a good place to ask ... :hiya:
