I've just purchased a Samsung s3 to try out before the new iphone comes out. I've owned phone's since the iphone 3 and own an ipad and a macbook so the likieness is I'll go back but im giving android a fair shot first. Anyway I'm wondering if anybody has done the same and experienced internet signal differences. I've always been able to get 3g throughout work but with the Samsung the best I can get is H or H+, it still seems quick but as I use it for tethering my ipad and macbook to it's important that its fast

    H and H+ is 3G Alison.

Stands for HSDPA so I suggest googling it.

The iPhone doesn't differentiate these but all others do.

For info, H+ is the faster of the two.

H+ is HSPAP:15 you can easily check it in the about phone settings and selecting status when you see the H or H+ reception Alison.

H+ is faster than 3G and HSDPA.

    I hope this helps.
